High C's Voice Studio

Jules Greaves
Voice Teacher, Music Educator, Singer & Career Mentor

Hi! I'm Jules.
I know what it's like to want to sing with your whole voice, but feel limited in its abilities. To feel like you're hitting the same wall, cracking on the same notes, and finding yourself frustrated over and over again.
That's WHY I created
High C's Voice Studio.
Here, we meet you where you are and grow from what you know. We unravel habits that aren't serving you and build new foundations that allow your voice to take root and grow strong and expansive, like a big tall oak tree of a voice!
I believe in honoring YOUR authentic voice and giving you the tools you need to facilitate your singing dreams. I also believe the only way to truly do this is by:
-
having fun and laughing...a lot
-
making mistakes, and normalizing the messy
-
balancing silly and serious in the process
So you can BLOOM in an environment that feels nurturing, safe, supportive- yet challenging.
I want to see you succeed, grow, stretch, create, & blossom into your best, most beautiful artistic self, brimming with the faculties needed to make your dreams a reality. That's why I do this and why I founded High C's. I'm in your corner, all the way.

Jules holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy for Musical Theatre, with distinction; both from the prestigious music conservatory, Westminster Choir College. She is a member of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing as well as The Speakeasy Cooperative. She is a lifelong learner, and continues her own education via workshops, & classes to ensure her pedagogy remains contemporaneous for her clientele.

As a performer, Jules was a professional singer, entertainer and voice actor for over 20 years- on cruise ships, off-Broadway, on tour, in cabarets, on regional stages and international venues as well as commercial and industry vocal work. She has sung at Lincoln Center with the NY Philharmonic and her voice has been heard in radio and television ads across the country. She has also worked in casting, music directed and co-created theatrical productions and enjoys the production/creative side of performance as well.

Julianne studied voice and performance under the tutor of renowned voice teachers, and opera masters, Dr. Rochelle Ellis and Katherine Johnson, and choral conducting under Dr. James Jordan. She studied acting with Mark Madama (University of Michigan), N David Williams (University of Miami), and John Bell (Conductor/MD), dance with Andrew Palermo (Choreographer/Artistic Dir. @ dre.dance) and Doug Martin (American Repetory Ballet Artistic Director). Her mentors have included Vocal Pedagogues, Kathy Kessler-Price, Frank Abraham, Christopher Arneson, Mary Saunders- Barton, and Stephen Purdy.
She has a dog named Jazzy, a son named Gabriel & a husband/ creative life partner named Rob. In her free time (but honestly, what is that...?) she loves to read, craft, and cook. Her favorite season is Fall and she only likes to go outside in seasons that don't end in -ummer. She knows that makes her weird. And she's ok with it.

This relationship is a reciprocity, a co-creation. I empower you to be the best version of yourself through positive holistic voice education, helping you grow as singers, actors and humans; you empower me by showing up and being the vital, present, self-prepared professionals who respect both your and my time. It’s a beautiful thing.
